Description
This option includes an urgent care provider evaluation for patients seeking access to an epinephrine auto-injector due to a history or risk of severe allergic reactions. Epinephrine may be used in emergency situations to help manage symptoms of anaphylaxis. A licensed provider reviews the patient’s medical history, allergy history, and questionnaire responses to determine whether prescribing may be appropriate. If approved, medication is prescribed in accordance with clinical guidelines. Treatment is not guaranteed and is subject to provider discretion.
