Description
This option includes an urgent care provider evaluation for patients experiencing symptoms of a vaginal infection. Depending on clinical findings, medications such as metronidazole, clindamycin, fluconazole, clotrimazole, or miconazole may be considered for bacterial or fungal causes. A licensed provider reviews the patient’s medical history, symptoms, and questionnaire responses to determine whether treatment may be appropriate. If approved, medication is prescribed in accordance with clinical guidelines. Treatment is not guaranteed and is subject to provider discretion.
